Plaxico Burress Released From Jail


Plaxico Burress is now a free man, 22 months after he began serving a prison sentence for weapons violations.
In jail, Plax got standard clothing issue, a department ID card and got a standard haircut and shave. He also was striped searched and fingerprinted. He was make only one 10-minute phone call in jail.

Plax was separated from the general population confined to a single cell. He got to leave his cell for an hour in the morning and two hours at night.

The NFL star left the Oneida Correctional Facility in central New York, hugging sports agent/guru Drew Rosenhaus on his way out.

Burress pled guilty in August, 2009 to attempted criminal possession of a weapon after accidentally shooting himself in an NYC nightclub.

He played for the New York Giants and wants to play again if an NFL team is willing to roll the dice.
