Jack Kevorkian born on May 26, 1928, in Pontiac, Michigan, the second of three children born to Armenian immigrants Levon and Satenig Kevorkian. Kevorkian's parents were refugees who escaped the Armemian massacres that occurred shortly after World War I.
Jack Kevorkian (Physician) died early this morning who known as "Dr. Death" for his assisted suicide advocacy. He was 83 years old.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Kevorkian had been battling kidney and heart problems.His attorney, Mayer Morganroth, said it appears Kevorkian suffered a pulmonary thrombosis when a blood clot from his leg broke free and lodged in his heart. "It was peaceful, he didn't feel a thing," Morganroth said.
Al Pacino won an Emmy for his portrayal of Kevorkian in 2010's HBO film You Don't Know Jack.
