The Home of Country Star Trace Adkins Home Destroyed By Fire

The Tennessee home of country music star Trace Adkins was destroyed by a fire on Saturday, but everyone in the home got out safe, said by police and firemen.

Adkins was headed to Alaska for a fishing trip before a tour date in Fairbanks and his wife, Rhonda, was not home at the time during fire time in Brentwood, Tennessee, south of Nashville, she told reporters.
The Adkins' daughters who were home and a sitter quickly escaped the house without injury, she said.
The full Brentwood Fire Department was sent to the scene and the department was expected to remain there well into the night, a fire dispatcher said.

There was one injury that was somewhat related to the fire. A neighbor rushed over to help save the family dog and the dog bit him. The neighbor was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover just fine.

Brian Goss, the Asst. Fire Chief for the Brentwood Fire & Rescue Department, tells TMZ the fire started in the garage and spread up the walls but the real cause is not yet known to us.
