Jennifer Connelly and hubby Paul Bettany welcomed their second child together, a daughter, on May 31, at their New York home last month, her rep confirmed to E! News. Yes, at their home.
Now the naming process, "Everyone is healthy and doing well," Connelly's rep said in a statement. "The family is very excited.
The stork delivery joins big brothers Stellan, 7, and Kai, Jennifer's 13-year-old son from a previous relationship, and is, obviously, the first daughter for either parent.
Just a couple weeks before the birth, Bettany discussed his last-minute nerves about his family's newest addition.
"I'm about to have another baby," he told Jimmy Fallon in May while promoting his new film, Priest. "Like, imminently."
He wasn't wrong!
"And we made this decision not to find out whether it's a boy or a girl and now I'm really nervous because I'm a really overprotective father and now I'm wondering what it's going to be like if I have a girl. I'm gonna be crazy."
Crazy it is, then. Congrats, you two
! But both of them are more happy with there new child and first daughter of both.
