William and Kate went on kitchen duty

Prince William and Kate went on kitchen duty Saturday in Montreal. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, seemed to be having a great time as they added their culinary touches to the task at the Quebec Tourism and Hotel institute.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were good sports as they participated in a culinary class at the Quebec Tourism and Hotel Institute. They donned chef's jackets as they and Premier Jean Charest and his wife, Michele Dionne, joined them in the kitchen.

The royal couple didn't shy away during their lesson, with the prince and the premier becoming competitive at times, reports the Montreal Gazette. Here's one account from the newspaper:

During the demonstration Prince William made souffle and the Duchess was shown how to cook an amuse-bouche of foie gras on a toasted brioche with apple cider jelly.
