Ben Affleck Help Jennifer Lopez End her Marriage to Marc Anthony!

Jennifer Lopez famously broke off her engagement with Ben Affleck shortly before she married Marc Anthony. Now it seems she may have turned to her ex-fiance as her marriage to Anthony was crumbling. We're thinking the last thing you want to do after announcing your divorce is make nice at someone else's wedding, but that's exactly what Jennifer Lopez did over the weekend.

"Guadalupe reached out to Ben over email. She wanted advice for Jennifer," a source told the magazine. "She always liked and trusted him. [Ben] replied back on email, wished her well and offered what he could."

Three days after that reported email exchange with Affleck, Lopez and Anthony announced they were calling it quits after seven years of marriage.

"This was a very difficult decision," the couple said in a joint statement last Friday. "We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.""Both of them are very controlling," Drew said. "You can't control a controlling person. It didn't work with Diddy for the same reason. You just can't control Jennifer Lopez."

According to local reports, the do took place at the Crimean Aivazovskii Hotel on the Black Sea and the entire staff, down to the housekeeping crew, was sent away for the week while the multimillion-dollar affair was closed off only to the several hundred invited wedding guests, many of whom had been flown in specially by helicopter for the event.

With that kind of money, it almost seems like the American Idol judge's $1 million payday was a bargain.

"This is a shocker for everybody. The last time most of us saw them together, they were doing an incredibly hot sexy performance on 'American Idol,'" People magazine assistant managing editor Julie Dam said last Saturday on "Good Morning America."

As part of the deal, Lopez sang and danced for the bride and groom, performing a medley of her hits, including "Waiting for Tonight," "Let's Get Loud" and "On the Floor."

The 41-year-old didn't stay at the hotel—in fact she was whisked away after her performance into a fleet of armored cars—but was put up, along with her backup dancers, singers, crew and assorted entourage members at the $4,100-a-night-penthouse suit in the nearby hotel Ville Elena.

"Are you happy?" Lopez asked the crowd from the stage? "I am happy because I am here with you today!"

Divorce or not, for $1 million we could muster up some enthusiasm, too.
